Harishitha Damerla joined the team as Data Scientist in Analytics (MLOR mentorship).

We are very excited to annouce that Harishitha Damerla joined the team as Data Scientist in Analytics.

Harishitha has been with IBM Watson Health (and Explorys) for 8 years under population health and big data analytics sector, during which she gained extensive experience in discovery of healthcare and financial data from partners by analyzing a variety of EMR’s, HL7s, 837s, Claims as the sources, acquiring high volumes of remote data, applying the massively-parallel data processing techniques, integrating the data using meaningful-use guidelines into IBM Watson Health platform and standardizing the data using clinical ontologies in order to streamline the data in across all organizations.

Harishitha loves working with data and enjoys exploring new tools/techniques for data processing. Together with her mentor Andrew St. John, she will help us step into uncharted territories of data science and strengthen our capability in research and analytics!
